Job Description

Ensure support for global EHS and Sustainability goals

  • Prepare, plan and implement activities and initiatives to enable the Rebecca site to gain ISO 14001:2015 accreditation under the Höchberg certificate
  • Develop and implement specific EHS policies and procedures for the Rebecca site within the overall Jaeger guidance. Ensure these policies are effectively implemented and applied.
  • Work to ensure the Rebecca site contributes to the Jaeger Corporate Sustainability and Reporting Directive requirements. Become the site sustainability champion
  • Assist with audit requirements as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation
  • Ensure compliance with Jaeger’s EHS policies and procedures
  • Recommend improvements on safety-related issues
  • Assist with fire safety planning through the coordination of scheduled inspections, sprinkler system testing, and documentation
  • Assist with the management of environmental compliance requirements
  • Ensure contractor and service provider compliance with external and Jaeger policies and procedures

Facilities

  • Ensure the effective maintenance and upkeep of the facilities to enable it to be safe and operational at all times
  • Schedule and maintain Facilities Preventative Maintenance Program, including but not limited to, scheduling service contract providers to perform PMs and follow-up work
  • Ensure PM completion targets are met and report on conditions that may affect operations
  • Manage and build good working relationships with Facilities service contract providers
  • Coordinate unscheduled service as required
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all external and onsite contractors ensuring safe work practices and compliance with Jaeger protocols are met
  • Maintain kitchen areas including appearance, stock and refuse
  • Report on facility conditions annually, more frequently if required

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build a continuous improvement plan for the site
  • Drive initiatives to completion and report out annually

Security

  • Assist the site lead with site security management
  • Ensure security tools are effective at all times
  • Support emergencies or after hours requirements as necessary

Office Services

  • Oversee mail and parcel shipping, receiving and distribution for the site
  • Support all renovations and furniture configuration
  • Maintain all office furniture and appliances
