POSITION SUMMARY:  
Martis Camp is looking to add a seasoned Group Fitness Instructor to our Fitness Department for the Summer 2025 season. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching strength and conditioning style classes, be a team player, have a positive attitude, and a growth mindset. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Warmly greet Members as they enter the Fitness Center and Fitness Studio, making a point to learn and use names as often as possible
• Lead engaging, effective strength and conditioning style classes for a wide breadth of clients, from experienced endurance athletes to teens to senior populations.
• Assist in fitness class setup and clean up, including helping to wipe down and put away equipment after your classes, stock towels and waters, and make sure the space is organized and tidy for the next incoming class and Members.
• Focus on fostering a true sense of community in your classes
• Keep the fitness studio safe and be ready to respond to emergencies, if needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES, CERTIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3-5 years of personal training and group fitness experience
• Exercise Science or health-related degree (preferred, but not required) or minimum of 2 training/group fitness certifications
• Required: Ability to work weekends, holidays, weekdays.
• Required: Age 21 and over
• Preferred experience working at a private club or elevated fitness environment
• CPR/AED certified – Or able to obtain within 30 days

WAGE RANGE: $21.50 per hour plus commissions
