Job Description:
Lead data engineer with Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in Stakeholder management and Project Management.
Experience in leading team in onshore- offshore model.
Collaborate on design, develop and implement data migration solutions to Databricks for processing business critical high-volume data sets strictly adhering to the schedule.
Prior experience in migration projects
Experience in Spark Optimization techniques to optimize and deliver highly scalable solutions using Databricks compute options.
Review the development and testing activities performed by data engineers to ensure data engineering standards.
Extensive experience in Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high quality software releases through Sprints.
Experience in CICD.
Technical expertise expected
Cloud technologies - AWS, AWS S3, EC2, EMR, HIVE, Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow
Programming languages SQL, Python, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Hive
Tools Git, JIRA, Jenkins
Total Experience required - 10-15 years
